Artist Statement
My art is a reflection of my emotions and the beauty I discover in the world around me. It is both an inward journey and an outward expression—a canvas for my feelings and a mirror to the beauty often overlooked in everyday life.
I draw inspiration from various techniques and styles, borrowing from the Impressionist period and experimenting with expressive methods. I often use mixed media, incorporating pre-painted paper when I feel particularly creative. This approach allows me the freedom to relinquish control, embracing spontaneity as I paint whatever ideas come to mind. In contrast, I turn to oils when I crave structure, using them to create abstract realism that balances the constraints I face in my professional life. Oils offer a unique flexibility; they adapt to my changing moods, and before varnishing, I often use them to unify my mixed media pieces, adding richness, depth, and cohesion.
Painting is not just a pastime; it’s my sanctuary—a space where time fades, and the world’s noise quiets. Each stroke is a release, each color a voice from my soul, and each piece a glimpse into my heart that I share with others.
I invite you to join me on this journey of rediscovery and celebration of life's beauty. I hope my work resonates with you, evokes emotions, and reveals the joy I strive to capture. This is what guides me through life's challenges.
Welcome to my world of colors, emotions, and rediscovered beauty.
